Bob Poe

Dad, Husband, Author, Entrepreneur

Introduction

I'm Bob Poe—a dad first, everything else second. When my twin boys Evan and Ethan were diagnosed with autism at age three, I didn't have a roadmap. I didn't have a guide. I had questions, fear, and a desperate need for answers. So I learned. I fought. I advocated. I grew. And I wrote it all down.

Author

"We All Have Holes in Our Walls" is the book I wrote from the trenches of special needs parenting—not from theory, not from textbooks, but from real life. From sleepless nights and IEP meetings. From meltdowns in public and victories in private. From the moments when I didn't think I could go on, and the moments when my boys showed me I could.

What About Bob?

Bob is married to his wife Chrissy, and together they have three amazing kids:
Abbey (a journalism major, up and coming author, and big sister extraordinaire)
Evan and Ethan (twin sons who teach their family something new every day)
In his spare time, Bob enjoys paddleboarding and coaching Special Olympics—activities that have become integral to his sons' lives both economically and socially.
